I was so excited to try this new restaurant because Souk is my favorite and I knew it was going to be good. The mediterranean Italian mashup works so well together. We got the mushroom flatbread, pork belly, lamb and carbonara. The pork belly and lamb were probably the best I’ve ever had! Since visiting Italy last summer my husband and I have been on the hunt for good carbonara. Unfortunately for me it was a little too much pepper but my husband loved it. The pasta tasted like homemade, but I didn’t ask if it was so I am not 100% sure on that. For those of you looking to make a resy and not sure what the difference is between the dining room, living room and bar, here is what my understanding is… Bar = self explanatory. You’re seated at the bar. Dining room = there are tables down a long wall and a few booths and high tops. Living room = there are about 4 tables right when you walk in with beautiful tufted chairs. It’s also directly in front of the kitchen.

Our first visit did not disappoint. Our server had a hiccup at the beginning of service, but more than made up for it as the night went on. We started with the Iberico pork which was tender and delicious. We shared a Caesar salad- very generous portions! I had the branzino and my husband the rack of lamb. Both were tasty and more than enough to share. Ended with the sticky date cake & gelato - it was the perfect ending to a great meal. Thanks to our server Tracy for the recommendation!

Our group of five enjoyed a spectacular family-style dinner. We kicked things off with truly delicious appetizers: the Fritto Misto, Mussels, and the amazing Sourdough bread were perfect for sharing. For the main event, we shared the magnificent Tomahawk Steak (seriously, the best steak I have ever tasted!), the Chicken Parm, and the Branzino. Every single plate was wiped clean, a true testament to the exceptional quality. Highly, highly recommend this spot for an unforgettable meal!

Bravo! From the moment we walked in, we knew this was something special. First, the atmosphere has a very classic romance vibe that makes you feel very comfortable. Second, the service is amazing! Our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. Third and finally, the food.. we tried the Roasted Beef Salad (amazing), I cant say enough about the Mushroom Toast, somehow it tasted like a fine piece of steak! We also had the pizza which is served in a large bowl and was delicious. I definitely recommend dining here and will return for sure.

While back in town visiting family, my mom and I came to Sabira for dinner on one of my last evenings. She made a reservation for the two of us and we absolutely enjoyed everything about our experience. Our waiter was extremely kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is upscale chic without being highbrow. I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, especially for Toledo standards. To start, my mom and I shared the lamb meatballs, which were some of the best meatballs I have ever had. And what goes better with meatballs, then some delicious freshly baked bread and garlic butter?! Before entrées, we split the beet salad and it was phenomenal. For my entrée, I ordered the carbonara which came with delicious freshly made pasta, while my mom ordered the Cacio E Pepe. Both pasta dishes were superb. To finish, we split the chocolate meringue cake. It was a unique dessert, and I appreciated the upscale flair to it. All in all, from start to finish this was an incredible meal, and I hope Sabira has a long and successful career in Toledo.

My husband and I have eaten our way around the world, and it’s rare to find handmade pasta on this level. The wild boar ravioli was rich and balanced without being heavy, and the braised beef & Gorgonzola pasta had that perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture. These two dishes were absolute stand outs that we would come back for again and again. There were three dishes that left us disappointed. First the guanciale in the carbonara was unexpectedly large compared to the traditional dish. While I can appreciate innovation, it took away from the dish as opposed to improving it. Second we were disappointed in the seared pork belly. It was almost entirely fat, and as delicious as the fat was I hoped for some actual meat. Finally we grabbed several tiramisus to go: one for us and one for our sitter. We all found it to be very dry and lacking the classic espresso and mascarpone flavor we were craving. And the service? Honestly some of the best we’ve experienced anywhere—even compared to Michelin-star restaurants. Warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the experience exceptional. The ambiance was dimly lit and romantic - truly exceptional for a date night. If this is what Sabira is doing as a newer restaurant, Toledo just gained something special. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

What a way to kick off my 46th bday. Thank you so much for me to enjoy desert first before my 4 course meal. Sickie Bunn Date cake and creamy vanilla ice cream. Vegetable minestrone that had the perfect amount of paper and flavor, Italian sausage and pepper with sauteed vegetables, margherita pizza with fresh Romano cheese and pepperoni on it, crispy n airy crust, last potato gnocchi with chicken and sauteed vegetables flavorful and spectacular in every way.
